That's at an earlier stage of his career and he was already great. Dice was HUGE in the late 80s to mid 90s, he sold out Madison Square Garden a few times. He was my introduction into harder standup around 89 and I never looked back 🙂

Dice was cancelled even back then. In the late 80s he was scheduled to be a guest star on SNL, and all the women cast members refused to show up if they went ahead with him. He was cancelled and didn't guest on the show.
