I survived septic shock 3 yrs ago after a struggle with mal nutrition following weight loss surgery. The feeding tube they placed poked a hole in my intestine and the infection that followed was washed away 6 times, they did multiple blood transfusions, etc. None of this helped. As I was in a coma my entire family was called in to say goodbye while I was on life support. Several churches here and abroad, even the surgeon, nurses and entire team were praying for me. I rallied and they tried one more thing. It was radical so after initial recovery and 2 months in the hospital I spent a year with an open stomach wound. Finally this year my abdominal wall was re-made but it was worth it. That whole ordeal was so terrible but not once was I alone. I tell everyone that just like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego I was never alone in that fire….. Sooooo when I heard this song a few days ago 😭 Oh precious Lord. It's just what was in my heart. Thank you.
