Chelsea created some beautiful passages of play from the start, even if they didn’t always create opportunities to score. Sterling’s goal came from the Blues’ first big chance of the game, displaying a welcome clinical edge.
Despite the positive play from the visitors in the early stages, it was a forest raider Brennan Johnson Who created the first significant opportunity. There were times when it was all too easy for the hosts to push forward and get behind Chelsea’s defence, with the second half particularly concerning as Forest eventually equalised.
