ford Fairlane… better than 199% of current films.
The same screenwriter Daniel Waters who wrote this movie also wrote HEATHERS. He specializes in showing the ugliness of humanity. He really sends up the music industry here in a big way. His satire is always so pointed and on target.

I think it's funny how the audience just completely overlooks Fairlane's lifestyle. How can he afford to have that car and house on the beach (near Los Angeles!)? Looks like he has a small parking lot for a driveway too on a busy street. It doesn't sound like he makes a ton of money being in the rock n roll detective business… 😂
Talking to Zuzu was like masterbating with a cheese grater. Slightly amusing at first, but mostly…painful.

This film has undoubtedly one of the most unique (and f–ked up) casts. Definitely one of the funniest movies of the 90's.

Great comedy. Shout to Yello in the soundtrack as well. One of the most underated bands ever. Been a fan since 'Oh Yeah' featured in 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off'. Also featured in Eric Idle and Robbie Coltrane's classic comedy 'Nuns on the Run'.
