The same screenwriter Daniel Waters who wrote this movie also wrote HEATHERS. He specializes in showing the ugliness of humanity. He really sends up the music industry here in a big way. His satire is always so pointed and on target.
I think it's funny how the audience just completely overlooks Fairlane's lifestyle. How can he afford to have that car and house on the beach (near Los Angeles!)? Looks like he has a small parking lot for a driveway too on a busy street. It doesn't sound like he makes a ton of money being in the rock n roll detective business… 😂
Great comedy. Shout to Yello in the soundtrack as well. One of the most underated bands ever. Been a fan since 'Oh Yeah' featured in 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off'. Also featured in Eric Idle and Robbie Coltrane's classic comedy 'Nuns on the Run'.
Bought a few issues of the Ford Fairlane comics.
Those are the flimsiest tombstones since Plan 9 From Outer Space.
7 minutes of the best scenes?
MY HAIR, MY HAIR!!!!
This movie is gold all the way through.
Horribly maligned classic

Talking to Zuzu was like masterbating with a cheese grater. Slightly amusing at first, but mostly…painful.
Now I get it.
When they were about to throw his guitar out the window: “Rape!” 😁
Terrifical 👌
The twins <3
Getting fired literally
This film has undoubtedly one of the most unique (and f–ked up) casts. Definitely one of the funniest movies of the 90's.
I forgot how dumb and funny this movie was. 4:28 Falling off the building spinning….“My hair!”
snappahead. #classic

What house did they use for Ford house on the beach in this movie?
I walk past the "Art Mooney" star on Hollywood Blvd regularly and always think of this movie.
One of the best films of all time
Decades before Deadpool.
My hair. My hair.
I will name my first son Ford Fairlane💯🤌
@ 1:31 I kinda wish Robert Englund was in Freddy Krueger mode and said "Welcome to Primetime Bitch!"
My hair lol
Is this meant to be a "so bad that it's good" film like The Room?
Dice is also one of my favorite comedians
One of my favorite movie's in the early 90's
These are the best parts? Yikes
Why would you spray your hair around a flaming building
Hit pay dirt with K-Dirt.
I remember being 12 years old and watching this on PPV over and over because I had a blackbox, made me cry laughing so many times.
