Although Jollof rice originates from Senegal, it is a West African delicacy. Also it depends on who cooks the Jollof rice for it to be good, regardless of your country.
The one in the green really irritates me. She didn’t even took a good amount to taste. With her high shoulders 🤦🏾♀️. Sad that one person represents a whole group of person. Everyone cooks in their manner. That doesn’t mean that it’s bad. I used to cook with a lot of salt and herbs and spices, and the older I got the more I used less salt and not so many spices. Because sometimes I used something because it was available😅. But no! Food is a Gods Gift. Some people don’t have spices or herbs. So let’s appreciate what we have
Too judgemental.. They are not open to just explore and taste one another's food for what it is. They're just immediately giving off negative comments about one another and it's clear none of them can actually prepare a good meal.
Maybe I missed this, but can someone tell me, are they eating this on the re-heat? Or they eating it cold? A re-heat can take the charm out of a dish real quick. And cold food that's not meant to be cold is only good if your starving or maybe hungover.
As a Nigerian, I’ve noticed EVERYONE makes their Jollof different. My onions are blended down into the sauce, it’s just red rice and meat that you see.
I dont think this was fair have me an unbiased American try each rice and i will definitely let you know which one is the best. I dont have to represent my home so ill be fair and honest and hopefully full.😬😬😬
If you want real competition from West Africa, next time include Cameroon. Cameroon, Nigeria, and Ghana have almost the same cooking style and recipes.
SENEGAL??? GAMBIA??
BRING MY MOM SHE MAKES THE BEST GHANAIAN JOLLOF RICE EVER.
Liberia got the best and wins damn near every competition in DC. Y’all got ignorant ppl on this one. Fuck they talking bout.
They forgot about Senegalese..they have the best
Michaela's shade at 2:56 lmao
Jollof rice with no Senegalese representation ?
Regardless, Cameroon has the best jollof rice. Cameroon cuisine is one of the best in Africa.

They should take 3 mature women, same country.
Since they already have a competition about their food, their personality just disgusting

y'all shoulda put gambians in here, afterall they did create what is now called 'jollof rice' lol
In my opinion, the best Jollof comes from Senegal and Mali. They are known as Bennachin and Zaame'. Nigerian Jollof is very good as well.
In my humble non-important African American opinion, Nigeria makes the best jollof rice 😮💨💚
No no Baby Girl need to humble herself stop with insult and just go with the flow damn 🙄
Rara just destroyed my Bluetooth speaker with her screaming laugh it won't even turn on WTF
